Sweat and shoes

I love to sweat when I work, for therein lies my deep thoughts.

I love to get wet while I watch how you move your body in this club.

My leg will lie lazily on your hard brown wall, we will watch the rain fall while we sip tea.

A pastor shouts about Jesus’ coming, I want to be with you in this journey; of love, sad and anger: of deep, cruelty and hunger.

Sweat mixed with my shirt, I am wearing no shoes: It’s cold outside! I will sleep again without this roof.
